Kim Storey develops and manages educational media projects for children, parents, and educators. She applies child development principles, educational objectives, content expertise, and research-based strategies to ensure that projects and programs are educationally sound and developmentally appropriate for their target audiences. BOSTON vs BULLIES
The Sports Museum, Boston, MA
Educational Consultant for The Sports Museum’s anti-bullying initiative featuring Boston’s all-star athletes telling their stories and helping kids stand strong against bullying. Includes a website, a 33-minute educational video, and 9 player-specific videos. Resources include facilitator's guides, worksheets, posters, student programs, teacher trainings, and educational and community outreach. Resources for kids with disabilities include guides, worksheets, games, and Choose Your Play, a series of video clips to help kids model appropriate responses to bullying. Bullying Prevention and Intervention Initiative for the Boston Public Schools
Education Development Center, Inc., Waltham, MA
Project Director and Senior Scientist for a partnership between EDC’s Bullying Prevention and Research Institute (BPRI) and the Boston Public Schools (BPS) to enhance bullying prevention education and intervention efforts, with a focus on serving students with disabilities.
